LMS announces new staff appointments to bolster growth plans

We are delighted to share our latest appointment news as we continue with plans to strengthen our team.

We have recently welcomed new staff member Kenny Wright as Production Manager, while we congratulate our former Production Manager, Chris Davidson, on his appointment as Business Development Manager.

Kenny, who takes up a key role as part of our senior management team, will be responsible for all LMS production and operational aspects. With over 25 years’ lifting industry experience in the oil and gas sector, Kenny brings a wealth of knowledge which will be invaluable in supporting our growth plans.

Chris, who joined LMS in 2016 as Operations Manager, has over 15 years’ lifting industry experience in the oil & gas sector. This is a new position for LMS and a key role in the sales team and will be focused on increasing sales and generating further growth both in the UK and globally.

Our Managing Director, Kirk Anderson, says, “With these two key staff appointments, we are aligning the business with our strategic growth plans for 2022 and beyond. We are delighted to welcome Kenny to LMS and to see Chris step into the newly created Business Development role.

“Kenny has a wealth of lifting industry experience & knowledge as well as key leadership and management skills. These qualities will support the development of our Production and Operations capabilities as our business continues an upward trajectory.

“At the core of this latest recruitment drive is a mission to strengthen our leadership team and to position the Production and Operations department to a higher level of efficiency. As demand and workloads increase, we need to ensure our operations are effective and streamlined to ensure exceptional quality and first-class customer service which we place huge value on in our approach to business.

Our Sales Director Millar Kennedy says: “Chris has done very well since joining LMS; he has a wealth of technical experience having worked onshore and offshore in the Lifting Industry in the UK and on international projects. This experience, combined with his customer skills, will support him very well in the new role.

“To establish a specific Business Development Manager position was a vital component for our expansion strategy and as we strive to strengthen our Sales Team and focus on diversifying into other key industry sectors such as Renewables, Aquaculture, Entertainment and Subsea,” said Millar.

Kirk Anderson said “Both Kenny and Chris will play a vital part in the continued growth of LMS and we are delighted to have such experienced and talented professionals on board. Their appointments will provide essential direction and support as we focus on our goal to be the ‘number one’ supplier of intelligent lifting products to global industries.

“On behalf of the entire team at LMS, we wish Kenny and Chris well in their new roles.”
