Lifting Equipment Specialist Continues Winning Ways

An Aberdeen-based intelligent lifting equipment specialist has continued its winning ways by scooping another prestigious business award.
At last night’s Northern Star Business Awards, Load Monitoring Systems (LMS) was crowned winner of the Customer First category, sponsored by ANM Group.  The announcement comes a year on from the company winning the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise for excellence in international trade.

Hosted by Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, the much-anticipated annual awards culminated in a glittering ceremony at P&J Live, where winners were unveiled from 70 shortlisted finalists in 14 categories.

LMS was recognised for its unstinting desire to consistently exceed customer expectations by developing close relationships and bringing a personal touch to every project which has resulted in year-on-year continual growth since inception.

As a truly global business, overseas trade for Load Monitoring Systems (LMS) represents more than 50% of overall volume, underlining the importance of establishing and nurturing relationships both at home and abroad.

LMS specialise in the design, manufacturing, sales, rental and calibration of intelligent lifting equipment and load monitoring products and services, including load cells, line tension units, winch monitoring, air moving systems, digital pad eye testers and crane safety instrumentation.  The business provides support to over 45 countries and on most continents.  LMS products are used in a wide range of industry sectors including energy, renewables, subsea, decommissioning, aquaculture, entertainment and construction.  LMS also has a comprehensive range of testing, calibration and repair facilities at its Aberdeen HQ.
